Shop Policies

Returns & Exchanges

  • At this time, we are not accepting returns or exchanging product. However, if there is a problem with your order, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at hello@happymooncandles.com and we will address your concerns promptly.

Damage

  • If your item arrives to you damaged, please take pictures of the damaged item (for example, a broken/cracked candle jar) as well as its original shipped box/packaging and shipping label. Please e-mail the photos to hello@happymooncandles.com within 72 hours of delivery. Do NOT light a damaged candle. We will happily ship you a replacement!

Weather Considerations

  • In the summer time, wax may melt due to extreme heat. In the winter time, the wax may crack due to the cold, but this will not effect the burn quality of your candle or the melt quality of your melts. We will NOT accept returns on candles/melts affected under these conditions. Please keep track of the shipping/delivery status of your item and remove from your mailbox promptly. Remember: mailboxes are like mini ovens in the summer, mini freezers in the winter!

Wrong Address

  • PLEASE double check your address before purchasing. If you accidentally used the wrong address when making your purchase, e-mail us  immediately at hello@happymooncandles.com! We may not have sent your item out yet and can fix it! However, if the item has already been shipped, unfortunately there is nothing we can do once we pass it onto the post office. We will NOT issue refunds for items sent with the wrong address. If the package is returned, you must pay for shipping costs again to be resent to the correct address.

Lost Items

  • Once we pass the item onto the post office for shipping, the item is no longer under our control. If you believe your package has been lost, please first contact your local post office for assistance and present them with your tracking number. Many of these occurrences can be resolved directly with the post office. If you encounter difficulty in resolving this with your local post office, please e-mail us at hello@happymooncandles.com.

Invoice Sheets/Paper Receipts

  • We do not include an invoice sheet or paper receipt in any of our packages unless requested. However, we will include our business card and a care card.

Processing Time & Shipping

  • Please be advised that while we will work to ship your item out to you promptly, once the item leaves our hands and is passed onto the postal service, delivery speed is 100% out of our control. If you are purchasing an item for a certain date or special occasion, we strongly recommend ordering well in advance. We appreciate your patience.
  • Candles, clamshell wax melts, the Deluxe Sample Box, and gift sets have a processing time of 1-2 business days, while wax melt shapes have a processing time of 3-5 business days. Shipping costs are based on weight and everything weighing 1 lb or greater will ship via USPS Priority. The estimated shipping time for Priority mail is 1-3 business days from the date shipped (but not guaranteed), with First Class mail being 2-6 business days from the date shipped (but not guaranteed). 

FAQ

What kind of wax do you use?

  • You will notice "soy blend" is mentioned on our labels. Our wax includes soy wax, but our candles and wax melts are NOT 100% soy. Actually, it's a blend! Our wax is part soy (52%) and part paraffin (48%). While the soy helps to increase the burn time of the candle and provides a nice texture to the wax, the paraffin improves the strength of the scent, allows for beautiful color retention, and ensures even burning throughout the life of our candles. It is the best of both worlds!

Do you accept custom orders?

  • We are not accepting custom orders at this time.

Do you offer custom or private labeling?

  • At this time, labels cannot be altered (ex: elements such as my branding or website removed) or customized with your own branding/logo. I do not offer private labeling or sell product without my own labels. Please do not remove my labels and/or replace my labels with your own.
